I want to put SpinRite on a bootable flashdrive so I can run it.
I want to be able to use the flashdrive with SpinRite on XP & Win 7.
Do I create the bootable drive with Fat32 or NTFS?
Have looked on line on how to create it but any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks, I saw Rufus when I was searching around but didn't want to download something if I didn't know it was OK.

Can't get the BIOS set to boot from "removable" drive. No matter what I set it at it boots to hard drive.
Any keys I could hold down to have it boot elsewhere?

Plug in the USB drive before entering BIOS to set the boot order. Also on older machines (if they support booting from USB at all) the USB drive can appear in the boot list with hard drives instead of in the list with optical or other removable drives.

Re: Create a bootable flashdraive
Some older laptops will only boot from the USB port closest to the power connector
