Maybe I'm skeptical, but I don't think he really knew that was a lie for quite awhile. He was, and is, too insular in my mind if you want to fault him for something. Why in the world would he go out and mouth a bunch of lies and make himself look like a liar and moron? I doubt he had the time to read and understand the content of the law, if he even saw it at all. No normal person could even find out about the law's contents 2 years ago. It doesn't make sense for him to keep making a false statement in public in the presence of a pissed off populace who knows the truth. In fact, no one knew what was in the law until it was written. Didn't Pelosi make this famous asinine statement:

"We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it ... "

lessee, TC, first off he was talking about the ACA(haven't heard of ANYONE losing a Doctor except by their own choice of plan), not Medicare.
Second, how long is it going to take before folks realize or remember that Private Insurers do this sort of thing all the time?? You want to fix that issue, go to Single-Payer, either Canadian or European models. Simple.

Medicare first, the ACA will probably cause the same thing to happen. Our system sucks compared to the rest of the industrialized world. Be that as it may, for his own good, Obama should have kept his mouth shut.

what I find comical, in a sad way, is all the sudden concern for the health of millions, or the insurance status of millions out of people who have never mentioned ANY concern for same as long as I've been in contact with them......
