Yea, and I guess the fact that proud liberals are connected to a hacker group doesn’t bother you in the least.
And I’m sure a Hacker group and a website called “Liberals Unite” can be trusted.
I can’t wait till vision comes in here and lectures you on bad journalism…no wait…

no, not really.Spidey wrote:Yea, and I guess the fact that proud liberals are connected to a hacker group doesn’t bother you in the least.
documents are documents. I am not accepting an opinion piece, by any means. Why is it that documents that agree with your point of view are ok, no matter the source, but you question those from a 'liberal hacker' group? And I’m sure a Hacker group and a website called “Liberals Unite” can be trusted.
Did he meet with those groups or not? If he did, you are dealing in facts, and the documents seem to clearly spell out that he did, when he did so, and so on. Facts are facts, and sources be damned. Welcome to the information age.I can’t wait till vision comes in here and lectures you on bad journalism…no wait…

if the documents indicate I did.......
Look, I was as surprised as anyone to read this stuff. I didn't link America's foremost Libertarian spokesperson with White Supremacy, but apparently he treads in both camps. I don't see where one necessarily leads to the other, but it could be seen as informative to WHY he formed certain aspects of his Libertarian philosophy.

Slick, I wouldn't necessarily be surprised, given some of Paul's "questionable" statements in the past (some from a decade or more ago), but the reporting here is really sketchy...
The link you provided appears to be a rehash of an article from June, which links to an article from February 2012, and the link to the purported documents is broken.
...Do you have anything better?

I'd likely be able to find the document link Foil, if I find the time while getting prepared for a week of surf fishing. As it is, I'm taking a five-minute break and returning to packing the Fabulous Fishing Car with stuff.

The article is just click-bait garbage.
Having followed Ron Paul closely in the past, this does not surprise me in the least. He has even publicly stated he holds no special judgment on any group, racist or not, and if they wanted to contribute to his campaign he would not reject them. It's part of Paul's vision of liberty. Racists have the right to organize, share their views, and donate to whatever political party they prefer, just like everyone else. However, they cannot break the law in doing so. Admittedly, this is a weird thing for people to wrap their brain around. While I accept Dr. Paul and his message of freedom in action, I have yet to decide how I would act in his shoes. There appears to be a conflict of interest: freedom for those against freedom. This is symptomatic of Paul's entire campaign which, at times, seemed over simplistic and without nuance.

So slick...
A group of criminals produce “documents” that they as HACKERS could have easily produced themselves…doesn’t sound a little problematic.

I'm wondering how many picture of important people posing with Robert KKK Byrd I can find.
