Kquery

Post by Suncho »

Kquery is a Game Browser like Kali or Gamespy. I posted in their forums today and they're adding support for Descent 3!

Kquery now supports Descent 3! They list every server that's listed on Gamespy (they get their list directly from Gamespy).

You can also launch Descent 3 directly as in Gamespy and Kali.

Not only that but they've fixed the 1 extra player in the list bug, which is something Kali and Gamespy never managed to do!

Download it here:

This is an amazing piece of software created by one guy! I encourage everyone to donate money to him. He may have just saved the D3 community:

I donated $150 (80 pounds).

Seems like a nice program but we need a program like GL max that has a common D3 chat and also lists the games. Without D3 chat Stresstests head might explode, and Jbumb will have nothing to do at work=(

kquery is just a game list program. It has no chat. You can chat wherever you want.

If you package a game list with a chat, that forces people to choose their game list based on which chat they use and vice versa.

Did I mention that you can send real time statistics of games from kquery directly into mIRC?

Whatever was wrong with SeemePlayme? Why does it see no games?

I asked them to update their games list and they said they'd meet me in chat, and I've been idling in chat for a while but so far no talkie.

You can still launch Dedicated D3 servers in SeeMePlayMe Ala Heat and hopefully they'll have a game list soon. But it's still a lot clunkier and slower than a simple game browser like Kquery.
