Re: Gospel of Paul
NO. You're expecting us to believe that you had a revelation that has allowed you to see "additonals" in your interpretation that are blatantly contradictory to scriptures. All while refusing to directly answer any of my questions. One has to wonder why. Why has this revelation made you contradict centuries of studies by men that have devoted a lifetime in searching the scriptures, yet YOU come up with a different conclusion?
NO respected theologian agrees with you, the scriptures dont agree with you. So there can be only one conclusion. Your "additionals" are wrong

Re: Gospel of Paul
Cuda, some of the "us" you talk about will believe it. Mission accomplished
Re: Gospel of Paul
What exactly are we disagreeing about anyways? There is more than enough evidence that the Father is greater than the Son, although right now He has handed everything over to the Son. Jesus says the Father is greater. Paul says He is the God and Father of Jesus and that He is handing all that authority back to the Father. What does that do to your trinity doctrine?

2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
your "additionals" are contrary to scriptures ask your self. Are you wandering off into myth?

Pfft. No, we been going back and forth for 2 pages because of rhetorical replies. That says nothing of your argument. In fact, for the last 2-3 pages, you have been asking me to make your argument for you. Let's take a break ok?

Well, it certainly doesn't make them 3 equal individuals making up one God or worse, A God with schizophrenia! They should be ashamed and you are the exact reason why. Pisses me off.

Re: Gospel of Paul
Ya didnt think you were done.
you dont get it. You don't want to get it. Your personal revelation of "additionals" are not scriptural.
So again I will point to Timothy. Your own personal revelations CANNOT contradict centuries of established and studied truths.

Yep, and that time is now, and the whole world is steeped in it. For awhile longer anyways
EDIT: the trinity doctrine is not sound, no not sound at all. In fact, it has run off many a free-thinking man.

I still love ya brother!
Re: Gospel of Paul
Fancy apartments and vestments don't make one a pope, and that's Francis's whole point: a pope is one who serves with humility. And the pope has always held the title of "Bishop of Rome."flip wrote:And when this goes out into the whole world, The Catholic Papacy goes with it. If the trinity doctrine is wrong, and it most certainly is, then divine providence goes with it, right along with the fatherhoods. Just go ask the Bishop of Rome. He refuses the papacy too. Won't stay in the papal housing, won't wear papal vestments, won't wear the ring and announced he intends radical reform of the Vatican. He calls himself the Bishop of Rome
Re: Gospel of Paul
Well, aside from that, this one is a little different. I've done a great deal of research on him and listened to his writings. He is saying the same thing as I without coming right out and saying it. He is doing a lot of things differently than any other before him. You should check it out for yourself. I really like the guy.
Re: Gospel of Paul
No, No. I understood rather clearly. I ignored some to avoid the sinkhole you and Cuda got into and clarified a couple of other points.flip wrote:I can tell by your responses you have completely misunderstood.
Incidentally, The Jehovah's Witnesses find their roots in the "Arian heresy" or "Arianism" as a historical foot note. (NOT "Aryanism", btw)
Re: Gospel of Paul
Yes, exactly. That's why I say 2 seeds. See, an allowance was made for 2 seeds each and every time a change of age came. Satan/Eve, Cain/Able, Lot/Lot's wife, Jacob/Esau Whomever falls on the rock/Whomever the rock falls on. An evil man will always find aryanism. A child of God only sees 2 seeds.
You have went beyond what's written.Whoever goes beyond, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son.
Re: Gospel of Paul
He sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts by which we cry "ABBA, FATHER!"23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
28 “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
