Well at least sanity prevailed, even if it was just some cover-your-ass blame assignment.Following media coverage of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed police to immediately suspend a Pakistani official for registering the case against the baby boy, according to police.

This reminds me of a video I saw long ago when a man was drawn and quartered in front of his family for unpaid taxes and then shown on television. Very effective threat against that whole population as to what lengths they will go to for any sense of rebellion.
