Re: Nothing on the one size fits all menu
I know some people here need help picking out the key words, since they are only multiple choice people. It is "stunting"There is substantial evidence that inadequate diets affect adolescents’ ability to learn and work at maximum productivity. Undernutrition increases the risk of poor obstetric outcomes for teen mothers and jeopardizes the healthy development of their future children. Children born to short, thin women are more likely themselves to be stunted, underweight and less cognitively able than normal birthweight peers. In addition, the heightened obstetric risk caused by stunting in childhood and adolescence persists throughout a woman’s reproductive life.

So which is it...inadequate diets or obesity? Maybe we can just feed the overweight kids to the hungry ones.
Re: Nothing on the one size fits all menu
All of the children in that video are athletes.
Re: Nothing on the one size fits all menu
I'm not sure flip knows the video is a satire.

I'm pretty sure Vision doesn't realize the number is 850 calories regardless of the obvious playfulness of the video.
Re: Nothing on the one size fits all menu
I'm pretty sure the number of calories means absolutely nothing without knowing where the calories are from, what time of day they are eaten, what kind of activity comes before or after, and what is appropriate for an individual. I don't know what your point is and I'm pretty sure no one else does either.flip wrote:I'm pretty sure Vision doesn't realize the number is 850 calories regardless of the obvious playfulness of the video.
Re: Nothing on the one size fits all menu
So, I take it you agree? Lol!
That is my point Vision. Hence "one size fits all" in the title.
