That is not a C-17 model, that is the model of a C-22.39 trijet proton scanner. The C-17 is made in by the Russians in 1991 and delivered in full force by the contrabutions of the wu tang clan, insane clown possie, and a hand full of little green men who are full fledged cuban patriots.

Man, that would suck to crash on the first flight. I would bet that that cost around 4-5k.

Stress and Top, YOU STFU!

those are very nice. WOW!! thats all i can say, those are very realistic looking and HOOORAH!!! for Jet Turbine and not Fan Jet crap.

i like both, and i loved the B-29 r/c plane that guy made. it had a 36 foot wingspan and could even drop little miniature bombs, or a rocket powered Bell X-1.

man id gladly pay to go see those planes in action, (the b-29 crashed after a wing snapped  )

wow, that B-52 even takes-off like a real B-52, and the jets even sound very close to a full scale B-52.

Very sweet!

Its been many moons since Gonz and I were at the flight line.
Even though we never got to witness huge replicas like these two fly, We got to see some sweet giant scale planes at several events(Gonz was bigtime into giant scale r/c and I was his mechanic as well as the video operations person).

Ace I think you might be confused.
It was the worlds largest flying B-17 replica that folded a wing over during a flyby at one of the big R/C events(I believe it might have been osh-kosh but my memories a little fuzzy).

*EDIT*
Also just to give y'all an Idea on costs
Gonz Has a 1/3 scale spitfire the bare minimum kit alone cost $7,000(no engine controls/landing gear/etc etc). The engine costed $2,500 (2.4 inline 2 cylinder).
I imagine planes like these are well into the high 5 digit catagory

You know what they should do, put an X-15 under the B-52 wing and then drop it and fly it! Yeh! It could be like a bottle rocket!

obviously you are too narrow minded to think that maybe i could shift putting my money into computers and technology, and shift it to R/C Airplanes.........just a thought

Well, I have no doubt you might be able to afford the "fun scale" size(still a good deal of $$).
But Like I and others have said, you about have to be already rollin in cash to afford the "giant Scale replicas".

Then the time involved, It takes incredible amounts of time to build the Giants Trust me on this I've been a part of nuemerous giant scale builds for gonz!
For just a giant scale trainer your lookin at a Grand to $1500. and that is just to get plane to flyable condition.
Next comes radio gear $300 for base model skys the limit on the advanced models. Then Starters, tools, repair nescessities(sp),gas and probably some more im forgetting.
Giant Scales are pretty much a great hobby if you can handle droppin at least 2.5 grand to get a start.
After training is over the price to play becomes substantially higher.

But as I said, "Fun scale" aircraft are cheaper, and if you can settle for small electric planes you can enjoy the hobby for less than a grand start up(some even considerably less).
One thing I can say, the proceeds I currently get from my ranch would definately keep me in the small electrics :P

Fixed your quote tag - MD

heh, Thats what I get for posting after spendin considerable time at the bar!
Maybe I need to bookmark this site whenever I feel the urge to PWUI ! :P

Then why don't you?

When's the last time you posted something that *wasn't* a blatant trolling of AceCombat?
