Re: Last stand of the Christians
The bigger problem is that Muslim Jihadists believe God sanctions their terror and killing of infidel unbelievers.

God does not likely exist, sorry to inform you, so no hope for divine intervention! These Christians can save themselves by getting away from crazy people with guns. No God needed! (Ever, for anything!)Sergeant Thorne wrote:You answer mine--do you believe that God will save them?

I guess their 'god' is stronger than Vision's courage.

Then aren't you just the little ★■◆● for blaming this group for being targeted by their aggressors, and mocking them by saying He will when you don't believe it. As I said, it says a lot about your character. As does your opinion that they should conform or cow-tow to save their skins. I say ★■◆● people who push other people around like that. If they've spent their lives building this place, it would be a travesty to have to leave it for fear of death. The problem is the ★■◆●ing aggressor, and Vision is a worthless coward taking shots at the victims because he has an axe to grind against their faith.Vision wrote:... No ...
Sounds to me like Vision would be one of those who gave ground to Hitler proceeding WWII. Just flee until there is no place left to flee!

FYI That statement makes you agnostic, NOT athiest. Its kind of hard to argue a point properly when you yourself dont know what you believe.

Why fear death if they are going to Heaven? Sounds like you might not understand what it means to truly have faith.Sergeant Thorne wrote:If they've spent their lives building this place, it would be a travesty to have to leave it for fear of death.
I know exactly what I believe. I know that there is no way to prove or disprove the existence of god, just like you can't prove the existence of unicorns or fairies or leprechauns. Skeptics know about doubt and it's important to doubt yourself, your senses, and your knowledge since all are incomplete. Also, there are several definitions of agnostic, some of which are indistinguishable from atheism in a practical sense. So yeah, you don't know what you are talking about. Go learn more.CUDA wrote:FYI That statement makes you agnostic, NOT athiest. Its kind of hard to argue a point properly when you yourself dont know what you believe.

Re: Last stand of the Christians
You talk around in circles, Vision, and I have no respect for that. If someone were going to come and kill you and your family because of what you believe (no personal quarrel, no wrong done on your part), how would you expect me to feel about that? How would any of you expect others to feel about that? Maybe it's foreign thinking to you, but I don't write it off as being your problem. The truth is that if there is no personal quarrel then it is everyone's problem, whether they realize it, or it ever comes back on them or not. In a civilized society, violent sons of bitches need to be put down, period. Don't take that as some kind of justification for our country invading some other country, or some bull★■◆● like that, but it's an important principle for a civilized society. Killing people without provocation is about as big an injustice as there is.
Re: Last stand of the Christians
I do not understand the subject of dispute. Nobody can ever say in advance how to behave any person in an emergency situation. Hefty guys can piss in their pants when they will see driving on them the tank in reality. Most religious fanatic can betray and run from the battlefield. And at the same time, pimply intellectual glasses can perform miracles of courage, fighting with the enemy, defending his homeland, their friends, its principles, etc. Actually, people have many other values in which they believe. Moreover, if intelligent people believe in scientific knowledge, the more primitive people believe in God. Atheists tend to defend them right from the point of view of science and common sense, while religious people tend to impose their faith in God. If atheists always respect the faith in God other people, that religious people are always happy and enthusiastic start to re-atheists.

Religious Democide. Not a prevalent in human history as I would have thought. Quest for power has been the biggest reason for mass murder and only a small percentage of those instances involved religion.

I agree. Let's start with Christians who deny their children medical care because of their faith. Torturing and leaving children to die is pretty heinous, wouldn't you agree?Sergeant Thorne wrote:...violent sons of bitches need to be put down, period.
Time to read those definitions again, moron. They aren't mutually exclusive. Want me to draw a Venn diagram for you?CUDA wrote:... that says you are an agnostic. it's not My fault that you don't know what the definition of the word is

Re: Last stand of the Christians
The dictionary and those definitions are used to educate the uneducated.
trying to "rebrand" yourself wont change what you are. Sorry if that offends you
so go ahead and continue with the name calling, if thats what makes you feel better.
