look at all the haters

Cant you just Feel the Love. I cannot believe how many racists there are in this country.

July 2, 2014 - Obama Is First As Worst President Since WWII, Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; More Voters Say Romney Would Have Been Better

American voters say 54 - 44 percent that the Obama Administration is not competent running the government.

Obama gets negative grades for his handling of most key issues:
Negative 40 - 55 percent for handling the economy;
Negative 37 - 57 percent for foreign policy;
Negative 40 - 58 percent for health care;
50 - 40 percent for the environment;
Negative 44 - 51 percent for terrorism

ya guess he missed the title :mrgreen:

I think it's funny how he keeps defending and singing the praises of the Administration, come hell or high water Obama is a god to him. well it seems now that the rest of the country is catching on to what those that aren't into hero worship saw from the start. he on the other hand will be here defending him till he dies and calling those that don't like him racist and hater

there's a HUGE difference between disliking certain policies, or feeling he isn't doing a good job and the knee-jerk stupidity over made-up non-issues which one can frequently find on these pages. Guess that subtlety eludes some, but, it's nonetheless true.

Yes, very true, but the opposite is also true, because I myself have raised the issue of having true complaints, being thrown in with the people who just have an axe to grind.

Your side can’t seem to tell them apart.

And there is zero credibility in someone pointing that out after the fact when they initially, and constantly, chant the mantra that all opposition to Obama is based on prejudice. (see your response to this thread if you need an example or proof)

would you like me to show you where you are wrong and how a majority of people want answers to all these "knee-jerk made up issues" that you frequently find on these pages??

not from me....or, at least I try hard to separate the two. Sorry, CUDA, I don't find Bengazi at this point more than mere whining.

the beauty of it is. it doesn't matter what you think. it matters what the majority of the people think. and they overwhelmingly say investigate

SO

If Democrats want to Stop the Investigation into Benghazi, they first have to do what the Republicans did: Win Elections.
Until then, stop whining. The People have spoken.

1446 people were polled. out of 312 million inhabitants in the country.

this poll means precisely dick.

As much as I don't want to take your wank material (like the mother who finds her sons' porn stash), I have to.

Average for US presidents: 53%
Average for elected presidents' 2nd quarter: 48%

The other stats are there.

and no, the irony in the thread title wasn't lost on me. But what it really is, is just a thin veil.

Yeah, Obama's on par with Dubya's second term. 2 bad pennies in a row. Tsk, tsk.

http://www.aim.org/newswire/poll-obamas ... -2nd-term/

By the way, remember that Obama DID inherit Bush's really big mess, so I have to cut him a little slack on some things.

http://news.yahoo.com/-it-s-obama-s-pre ... 05971.html

However, Romney would have been bad, or worse. At best, he could never stick to any set principles during his campaigns, the king of the flip floppers. At worst, he's part of the Anarcho-Capitalist's schmooze club with the likes the Koch Bros. He would have gutted every little regulatory agency in Washington just to make it easier to screw the middle class and make him and his cronies richer.

The president doesn't have that kind of power.

Indirectly, he does. When a president gets elected, he, or she, can appoint people they want to run the various government agencies. Those people are ultimately the ones that will put through the president's agenda. Bush did it so deep down into the civil services, he broke precedent. Plus, if both Houses of Congress are from the same party as the pres., all bets are off.

By the way, if president's don't have that much power, how come Texas governor Rick Perry could claim he would get rid of all those government agencies, the one's he forgot the names of, like Education and the EPA, during that infamous Republican debate in 2008? :wink:

Ok, so Obama and his party had both houses of Congress from 2008 - 2010.
Why is it, if all bets were off and Obama could have done all the things he needed to do, that he is constantly blaming history for his inability to get the job done? Hell most of the time he 'never even heard of the problem until he read about in the news'!

Well thank God for the news. Otherwise he'd NEVER know what was going on in his administration :P

Yep. Now if we could just get them to tell the truth about what happens even when he is the problem he might be compelled to do the right thing...

Just like the Bush Administration. We got all sorts of "accurate news" from his crew of cronies too. :P

And how many times did the Bush administration say

" we just found out about it in the news like everyone else" ?

How then is the Gallup poll any more relevant that the Quinnipiac poll? You are cherry picking polls to bolster your point.

YES YES Bush the Devil. We all know how you feel about him.

but please tell me how that relates to a president thats so inept that the last several scandals that have plagued his administration he had to find out about it from the news. So that begs the question. Is he that inept. Or were all these things planned?

Put it this way. I think Bush was as inept and evil as much as you think Obama is now. I also believe Bush was worse for this country and did more damage than anything Obama has ever done. If you want to go on griping about Obama, remember, everything Obama is doing now is by using those new executive powers that were given to previous presidents, but especially those given to Bush for security reasons. Don't like the NSA spying, thank Bush. Don't like all those executive decisions circumventing congress, thank Bush.

Frankly, I think everything Obama does is planned. Why he's doing things the way he's doing them, I don't know. All I know is that he's not stupid, but he's sure looking inept at running things. But I do know that he's had to fight Republicans tooth and nail to get anything done. It's when he's gone around them with executive powers that he's made poor, desperate decisions.
