Well, 2014's just about over already, and I certainly didn't waste it musically. If you're the sort of person who likes to listen to cool and unusual electronic music and songwriting, you just might want to not miss these.
While my soundcloud has a bigger collection, there are a couple tracks on my reverbnation that're exclusive there. It was a good move at the time.

As well, I ended up putting four new tracks up on PlanetDescent this year -- two of them are previews of the new album I have coming out probably between February and April, one of them's from an EP that I released this year and the other... well, I'm not telling just yet. Gotta have some secrets.

If you like what you're hearing and you want to hear the full albums and EPs, you can check out my bandcamp site... except for that new album I mentioned, that one's not there quite yet.

Nice, always good to see new stuff from your side. Will check it out now (as it's been a time since the last time I visited Soundcloud, I'm such a mess. )

Alter-Fox, I like your instrumental without vocals, if you ask me.

Yah you probably have a hard time understanding it. Needless to say those vocals are aimed at English speakers.
I still do a lot of instrumental work but most of it is for game contracts, so I have to keep it a secret while the games are in development. When I'm working on my own time, lyrics and vocals let me explore ideas and themes on a deeper level than I'd be able to get with instrumentals.
With industrial music in particular, I've noticed artists like Skinny Puppy and NIN tend to explore interesting ideas and issues about the world in their vocals, either metaphorically or more literally... it was one of the main things that made the genre such a big influence for me. I tend towards metaphors and heavy imagery but there's definitely some real stuff in there.
