SCOTUS will start hearings Wednesday on whether :
"subsidies for health insurance should be available only to people buying coverage on exchanges “established by the state,” i.e. state-run marketplaces "
As the law states above the problem lies in the fact that 34 states do not have state run exchanges. If the justices agree to the law that means the subsidies disappear and 100's of millions of people will now have to pay the full exorbitant rate for health care. If that happens I wonder how Obama will fix it or will this be the demise of Obamacare?

Re: King vs Burwell
It should be easy enough to prove “state” in this context means a government, not the 50 states.
The proof is in the text….”the state” not “the states”.
Dumb lawsuit in my opinion, and I don’t support the bill as it stands.

Re: King vs Burwell
I think the words "the state" may have come in a context where the text had already established the individual states as the subjects of the stipulations it was outlining. If that is correct then the individual states will be seen as the subject of the placeholder 'the state'.
Otherwise they have a really bad case if the whole argument hangs on that one phrase....

Then some idiot needs to lose their job, for missing the “s”.
I haven’t looked into the suit itself…was just going on the wording given by Woody.
Should read “established by 'a' state” not “the”, or "the many states” as used by those dead white guys.
Pathetic grammar at the very least.
