The great liberal sponsor George Soros, who financially backed 30 some groups to agitate for civil unrest in Furgeson, must be feeling eminently satisfied today with the shooting of 2 police officers there. How about you? Are you also satisfied?:

In all, Mr. Soros gave at least $33 million in one year to support already-established groups that emboldened the grass-roots, on-the-ground activists in Ferguson, according to the most recent tax filings of his nonprofit Open Society Foundations.

and, that had ANYTHING to do with those cops being shot, how, again? As the Justice Dept investigation showed, there was a systematic abuse of the policing upon black citizens, most recently as a seeming fundraising measure, that has been going on for decades. That sort of crap breeds ANGER, and it doesn't take any 'activist' group or (in the case of virtually all of those groups Soros funds) political empowerment, social welfare or educational groups to promote anything. The anger was there. The anger is what caused the initial unrest. Oh, 33 million to 30 groups, all of which have dozens, sometimes hundreds of ongoing projects means that Mr. Soros dropped may 35,000 or a bit more into Ferguson. Not that major a contribution, frankly.

how do you know that wasn't precisely some of the effort of the groups he funds? I strongly suspect it is, frankly. The Soros rants always amuse me, because most ranters haven't the first clue what the man's money goes to fund. wow, scary bunch. How many were armed? How many participated in ANY violence?

once again, links to groups hot and bothered that others around the nation and world care about the blatant discrimination in Missouri, really doesn't bolster your assertions, at all. Plus, you cite ONE group. Where are these 30 groups you mentioned at the outset? I mean, 'the Missouri Torch' bloggers are probably more of a hazard to civilized society than anyone you've cited with Soros ties.

Worth reading the whole thing, written by a pro-philanthropy site. It is informative, and renders Soros a bit of a bugaboo to you all, if you dig even deeper.

Now you are trying to obfuscate and temporize. Because some of his money went to education doesn't mean that his agitators did any the less damage.

you haven't proven to any extent whatsoever that they did, and you asked why he didn't contribute to schools. You sure haven't come remotely near proving your initial assertion, that Soros is in ANY way responsible. Compare any effect you can actually prove with 2 decades-plus of systematic racial discrimination on the heels of 75 years of Jim Crow laws preceded by slavery, and tell me where the anger is really rooted, and why it might still surface readily.......yeesh!
