Outlook 98 problem

Anyone in a corp environment can help me here. I've searched MS KB and found only 2 solutions to this problem and neither worked.

Problem:
OS= NT 4 SP6
Outlook 98

Start Outlook= Dr Watson crash within 30 seconds.

Solutions I've tried.

Replaced outlib.dll file
Reset Outlook Profile.
Searched for "offitems.log" and outitems.log" (as per MS site, to recreate) but did not find them on PC. I beleive these may be on the Exchange server.

I'm at wits end as to why this may be happening.

Any help appreciated.

what did u install befor it started to give u probs.

well i should ask was it working befor and just now started this

Nothing was installed. We have about 3000 users in this building, I'm responsible for 1 floor with about 200 users.

This just started happening today.

I've also done the "delete c:\temp files and the user.dmp file."

humm odd if u have the disk for it try reinstalling or does it come with Nt4?

cant rember to well havent played with 4.0 in a long time

When we build our PC's they are already custom made for our users. We are migrating them to XP now but not all at once. Next thing I will try is to reset the NT profile.

yeah u could try that

i know ol98 hates XP so yall might half to upgrade that but u wont know till u try
