Is the media guilty of incitement?
It's rather interesting how this story is being played on CNN...
Running a story with a 24pt. headline with a "victim" dressed up innocently in his Sunday best. Message being slant..er I mean, sent?
http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/12/us/tony-r ... index.html
It's virtually saying- INJUSTICE, now GO RIOT and LOOT!

yeah, should have read 'another unarmed man' for accuracy. Otherwise, valid news.

You'll notice the headline is quite a bit smaller.Vander wrote:

Really? That's the most relevant part of his status, demeanor and his actions that led to his death and exoneration of the policeman who shot him?callmeslick wrote:yeah, should have read 'another unarmed man' for accuracy. Otherwise, valid news.
You have a twisted perception of the meaning of the word "accuracy"!
Or have you, once again, shamelessly forsaken any shred of integrity to maintain the momentum of the left wings narrative....

Re: Is the media guilty of incitement?
this silly example aside, though, the Media is guilty of incitement, daily, on SO many issues. Incitement sells ad time.

Sure look to me like automatic formatting based on the amount of text. But please, go on.

Re: Is the media guilty of incitement?
well, it seems another paranoid fantasy just goes to crap............
you know, I have no problem with decrying the issues around a 24 hour cable/satellite news cycle, but geez is the old 'liberal media' BS getting old.

It's not BS because it's quite slanted. There is no such thing as unbiased media. Any facade of unbiased reporting has fallen away.callmeslick wrote:the old 'liberal media' BS

Re: Is the media guilty of incitement?
no it hasn't, you just have to look outside the cable news sourcing.

“News”…ha, news has the least influence in this country, considering how most people no longer trust it, or know the bias of their particular brand.
No, the liberal “media” that has the most influence is Hollywood, Madison Avenue and things like pop music.

Well, those who listen to outlets like Fox news get influenced plenty.Spidey wrote:“News”…ha, news has the least influence in this country, considering how most people no longer trust it, or know the bias of their particular brand.
