The ironic part of all of this is that the Intel guys used to bash the AMD guys heavily for having hot CPUs. Sorta like the nVIDIA guys did to the Voodoo guys fur having 5500s. Well, low and behold, now it's the AMD guys that get to laugh at the Intel guys for having the hotest PC cpu's in history.

Ok, what am I missing here? My P4 3.0GHz Prescott rarely goes over 40°C, and that's with the stock HSF. I'm a n00b when it comes to PC hardware, but that's not bad, is it? I seem to remember it topping out in the mid 40's when i overclocked it to 3.6.
