Different times indeed...

President Obama: Iran's Supreme Leader's 'Death To America' Rhetoric Won’t Derail Iran Deal
President Barack Obama shrugged off anti-American barbs and tweets from Iran’s Supreme Leader, calling Ayatollah Ali Khamenei “a politician” whose rhetoric won’t threaten a deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program.

“Superpowers don’t respond to taunts,” Obama said in an interview on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” set to air on Sunday. Obama added that he’s “not interested in a Twitter back-and-forth with the Supreme Leader.”

In defending his push for an Iran deal, Obama reiterated the arguments he’s made for weeks: that the agreement will prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and that rejecting it would present the U.S. with only worse options, including another war.

“Nobody has presented a plausible alternative, other than military strikes, to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon,” Obama said.
Obama's BS is giving us a nuclear armed Iran, a nuclear arms race in the middle east and a bountiful injection of cash to terrorists and American-killing murderers to boot.

As observed by 'War News Updates' blog editer:
WNU Editor: When former Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev made the vow that "we will bury" you at the U.N. .... the West reacted appropriately. Flash forward 55 years to today .... "death to America" means the lifting of sanctions, tens of billions of dollars released, and the removal of all restriction on Iranian officials wanted for war/terrorism crimes. Sighhh .... I am clearly living in a different time.

You do realize that the Iranian nuclear deal involves many more players than Iran and the US, right?

Yes- and they're all salivating at the business deals and trade (not to mention cheap oil) that Iran would provide. They (like Obama) could care less about the monster with the nukes.

America provided the lead however- and had the US stood firm, there would be no lifting of significant sanctions.

hell, you have one monster with nukes there already, and they've been subjugating natives of the region since the late 1940s. Secondly, anyone panicked over Iran getting nukes in a minimum of ten years should be awake full-time given that Pakistan has had them for years.

Last time I checked Pakistan was threatening to wipe anyone off the face of the earth. By your tone and inference slick, it sounds like you don't care the Obama has opened the door to Iran acquiring the bomb. If so your world view is as bad as the guy in office that you so adore.

Referring to North Korea? lil'Kim isn't suicidal and neither was his father. The mullahs on the other hand...they seek greater reward in the afterlife. Suicidal attacks are in their blood.

Obama hasn't opened any doors, once again. You keep repeating the mistake that the US is the only player in this game. Sanctions, thanks to the other major players, were DONE. Iran would have had a bomb within 2 years(never bought that 6 months away crap that Bibi has been selling for 20 years), more than likely. So what? Like I said, and which was misread my another, you already have one player in the mideast with a bomb, and mutually assured destruction has worked well between us, China, Russia for decades. And no, Pakistan isn't threatening anyone, save India from time to time, but that have an INCREDIBLY shaky government, dubious military/secret services and a boatload of radicals loose.

Again, last time I checked, neither Israel nor Pakistan is advocating the complete destruction of another country. And the nutjobs running Iran are of the persuasion that the coming of the big ice cream truck is accomplished by creating world wide devastation. Keep rationalizing to yourself that Iran is just like any other country and can be negotiated with...right up until some mullah drags you out from under your bed.

sorry, Woody, I'm not that easily scared. You wish to hide under your bed, go ahead. I'm quite content to let the region sort itself out, and keep the US out of the crap as much as possible.
