Re: Wow
Career and real life really took over. Almost 30 now. ★■◆●ing weird.
I've been living in the city of Missoula for the last few.
Founds myself truly active in politics for the first time and I thought I'd come and see if you all were still arguing in here. Though much to many of your chagrins I've been converted to a leftist and actively campaign for Bernie
I'm on the left (no pun intended)

Re: Wow
Corvallis must be really leftie. I've seen a lot of "Bernie" bumper stickers and signs driving around. In fact, I haven't seen any Hillary signs here at all.

I don’t see the appeal, he’s not likely to get anything he wants, even with a Democratic Congress.

Re: Wow
at least he makes it plain that his plan and ideas, to be fully implemented, would require years of dedication to revamping the whole system. I like to hear this, after 7 years of suffering Obama supporters who were under the idea that he planned on bringing unrealistic levels of change right away.If Bernie were to win, with a Dem Congress, and a broad national mandate, you might well see him try and sell Universal Medicare for all. You will definitely see him push for a return to Glass-Steagall, which he correctly notes was a disasterous deregulation of a law that had served its purpose well for decades. Otherwise, for those of us in the East who've had a chance to see him work, Sanders is a savvy, experienced political pragmatist, who understands the workings of a Legislative branch that changes things very gradually, and further, appreciates that it was designed to be that way.Spidey wrote:I don’t see the appeal, he’s not likely to get anything he wants, even with a Democratic Congress.

Hah. Yeah I found the shirt on Amazon, it's a big hit with the college kids.
Career is good. I help run a commercial fish processing facility in Alaska half the year, the other half I just kinda do whatever my heart desires. This year is for politics. I remembered all the debates and such in here, and thought I'd see if there was still anyone present. I was not disappointed.
