Can someone help me, I what to play descent 3 online!

I just download Descent 3, and I got some IP address from some people at this form, but they don't work, I don't know if i'm doing this right, but I can used some more IP address from people, because I love descent, I just what to kill people in that game.

This are the IP address I used that they don't work, I don't know If I need a other program in order to play people online, Its driving me nuts, any way these are the IP address I used to play people online:

217.160.167.30:2092
People say they work, but I can't get it to work, I'm using dsl and i'm using descent 3 version 1.0,
anyone help me!!!!!

Version 1.0 is no longer used. I think www.planetdescent.com has the newest version (1.4)

Somebody will post if there are better places to download it.

install it, and try again.

http://descent.cx - there is a list.

If you click on the IP:Port of the servers there is a nice and easy launch-option too.

All the servers are running 1.4 and you're running 1.0 so you can't see them.

How do I install the patch?

Just run the .exe file of the patch you need. If you purchased D3 in the US, but the US patch gives an error message, try the Australian patch; some copies of D3 sold in the US were actually the Australian version. If you have any other questions, check out my D3 Beginner's Manual, which has information on setting up D3, finding games, and chatting.

Bad news! Apparently the Australian patch doesn't work either! I'm quite sure my game is a Europe game. It's a Sold-Out Software game.

The Sold Out Software discs come with the patch on them. Use the patch that came on the discs.

No, thats just the European patch again!

Hang on... When I run the patch it comes up with a menu of programs, a menu where I'm supposed do open something. WHAT DO I DO THEN?!!

I believe the patch asks you to find the Descent3.exe file. Just go to your main D3 directory and select this file; this will allow the patch to run.

Dear TIGERAssault. I really hope you will get D3 1.4 running but please: One topic is enough for your problem. The other thing is that your problem actually has nothing to do with servers / server ops but for this time it is okay...
