islam is islam. There is no 'moderate' anything. If you're a 'moderate' under islam, you are an apostate and must be dealt with along with the rest of the infidel kufar.

and a pro-right-wing Israeli site is where to locate 'moderate muslims' or, for that matter, anything unbiased about Islam? I'm betting not. Another article, "I knew Bernie Sanders' Israel Shaming outreach director......". No ax to grind here, right?

Weird how I dated a moderate Muslim. Hm. She must have been the only one. A unicorn I guess.

I will say she was quite at odds with her family though. Her relationship with her father and brother were awful, and with her mother it was only slightly better. This was a Syrian family that had been living in America over 20 years and it was interesting to see the spectrum of cultural beliefs.Vander wrote:Sleeper cell.
About six years ago I sat with a young Muslim couple during an informal business lunch and the conversation turned to Islam and women's rights. The husband explained the role of men and women in the household and honestly it wasn't too different than what I've heard from strict Evangelicals.
From an anecdotal standpoint having dealt with dozens of Muslims in business and personal affairs I will say that on the whole they are more religious and socially conservative, but there are definitely moderates out there, though not nearly as many as the "spiritual" people in the US who happen to self-identify as Christians. But this fact is understandable considering Muslims make up such a small percentage of the US population.
Oh I almost forgot the two Muslim kids I was on a team with for years in a different video game. One was from New York and played heavy metal guitar, and the only reason I know he is Muslim was because some shithead was bashing Islam in-game and he was like "yo, I'm Muslim bro." Then I remembered his name (IRL) and was like, oh yeah, your name. Duh. Arabic. The other kid was a Syrian raised in Canada and he smoked weed constantly. Again, nothing he ever said or did was abnormal and his religious affiliation only ever came up when idiots where saying dumb ★■◆● about Muslims.
