I'm seeing a disturbing pattern here. Kinda like that latest TV show where they pick un-talented people, and play them up for a big fall... then everyone laughs at them.

Just because someone's a geek doesn't mean they can't have a place to meet other people that might understand (and accept) their geekiness.

That article made me sad, and thinking about all the hoots its readers are having over it is even worse... jmo.

It seems as though the majority of the people of that site are probably horrendously ugly geeks that haven't bothered putting their pictures in their profile, OR people that signed up for a laugh.

I came accross some chick called "Vikki," I was kind of surprised because she had a picture and she looked good. Then I read her paragraph, which, paraphrased, said the following:

"OH, and if ANY of you geeks talk to me about role playing or any of that other ★■◆● i'm never talking to you again. I don't like fantasies about a size 3 wood elf who's actually a big heifer. I also am quite the sarcastic ★■◆●, if that wasn't apparent."
