Make America Mexico again!

Just curious. How many of you would be OK with returning Mexican land taken from Mexico during the Mexican-American war of 1846?

I wouldn't have any problems since I'm Mexican American. I could fit in either way. ;)

You know the history of those areas, right? It's more complicated than "the US took land from Mexico." There was a lot of local autonomy and nuanced politics. Would I be OK giving the land to Mexico? That question seems irrelevant to any current events. Can you give a good argument for or against in today's frame of reference?

Can you be serious? I assume you are just looking for attention, but what possible, realistic scenario would involve the US and Mexico reverting national borders to some time in the 19th Century?

I don't think that would work. If the Russians went to all that work for the Mexicans, why wouldn't they just annex CA for themselves and put the Mexicans to work as cheap labor? It's going to fall off into the ocean someday and move towards Russia, so it will eventually be closer to them than us. :P

I would consider making Mexico our next U.S. state. (i.e. taking over)
