Nothing against any of the others, they're all great games... but Overload's teaser captures exactly what I loved about the original Descent games and instead of a nostalgia trip it makes it new again.

Yes, many games are good in their own way, especially Overload undoubtedly the most close to classic Descent, but today I choose SolC.

The poll specifically says Modern Descent...so the game that truly captures the idea of modern Descent (cube-based structures, focus on SP, etc) Overload all the way. If it was to say best modern 6DoF game, I would say...Overload still lol
6DoF mapper, Descent 1 and 2 fan, Sonic/Samus/Kirby main in Super Smash Bros 4, and all-around nice guy.

Overload, with SolC as a close second.

We need a mod where you can fly a descent ship into a dwarffortress mine. The amount of enemies would be incredible.
