They don't build bombs, but they build relationships.

because, Ferno, some folks don't like to ascribe human traits to people who they need to categorize as 'others' to justify bigotry and hate.

ST is poisoned. He think he's special and his clan is special, but everyone else is evil. He doesn't have the imagination to realize that people are all generally very good and want to see other people succeed as well as succeed themselves.

Actually it's your topic title, and the blanket statements in this article about the intentions of Syrian refugees. Either you know something about them or you don't, and last I heard they weren't being screened by the countries letting them in. It's all very well to hope, but it's not very prudent.

Well, let’s just hope Canada can learn lessons from the mistakes the European’s have made, in not assimilating people, and ending up with segregated slums instead.

And to be fair the title should be “also” instead of “actually” because from what I have seen, there are some refugees in Europe that are causing all kinds of trouble.

Spidey, I don't see Canada(or the US) having to integrate the sheer numbers of foreigners who have come to Europe in a series of waves, first enticed by available labor, later by those fleeing oppressive conditions. Thus, it should be far easier to avoid the mistakes of Europe.

We have a pretty efficient screening process. Everything you've heard is wrong. And hope isn't really a factor here, seeing as the chance to do something was there, but they didn't do anything but help others.

No. and not really relevant here.
