I get what you are saying here, and I think we will eventually get to that place. In the meantime, the racism expressed by a minority (in this case, Blacks Americans) is toothless. That fact counts for something. It is an unfortunate form of self-expression but it's not oppression. Yes, we need to recognize and tone-down racist language on both sides, but more importantly we need to keep an eye on racist actions, the kind that do real damage. African-Americans are still highly marginalized in the US.
