.....note, I put out that this article is OPINION, Woody. Now, would anyone like to opine as to whether this tack towards authoritarianism appeals to them as a citizen?

I like authoritarians that agree with me. I don't immediately feel the burden of these authoritarians because I'm probably already living or trying to live within the acceptable confines of this authority. It takes more consideration and empathy, from within these confines, to have a bad perception of authoritarians. And consideration and empathy are for dirty hippies.

...don't injure your cheek with that tongue. I hear what I think you're suggesting.......authority comes in shades, flavors and most of all degrees, and that sometimes,authoritarians or authoritarianism can creep up on a society.
