The Clinton Foundation...and slavery?

Post by Nightshade »

Seems they're involved in Haiti...
At its most savage, child slavery still thrives in Haiti in the form of the “Restavec system.” Children are kept in grinding poverty and worked to the bone. In the Anglo-American and European worlds this would be considered perverse in the extreme; in Haiti owning a Restavec is a status symbol. (Haiti, incidentally, is another spot on the globe that “Hillary Clinton’s State Department” “helped ruin,” by ensconcing an illegitimate and corrupt leader, with a preference for corrupt NGOs such as … The Clinton Foundation.)

is the Clinton foundation running for office, and why does my charity monitor rate them so highly, in terms of effectiveness of contributions?

And why did this charity montoring group remove the Clinton Foundation from it's list?:
We had previously evaluated this organization, but have since determined that this charity's atypical business model can not be accurately captured in our current rating methodology. Our removal of The Clinton Foundation from our site is neither a condemnation nor an endorsement of this charity.

as they explained, had you read your own linkage, the Clinton foundation does not operate within the boundries they can measure. I can assure you that any rating of charities is very positive about the Clinton Foundation, and that many millionaires, who vet such matters before spending their money, have it on the list of major global charities, if they tend toward those. I generally do not, as most of my charitable giving is aimed towards US domestic issues like homelessness, environment or illiteracy. Still, I've read nothing, and I mean nothing, to suggest that the Clinton Foundation doesn't spend the VAST bulk of incoming donations for global good works. Spin it how you wish.
