Geofencing

Post by Tunnelcat »

Or in other words, virtual walls. Drone owners and operators aren't going to be happy about this tech development, and you know it was going to happen. I wonder if the the technology will become available to the general public or will it be solely for the specific use by certain business or government entities, entities who want to keep things from public prying eyes?

Old news; won't happen. And if it does, some clever hobbyist is going to figure out how to rip it out.

Apple doesn't like it at all. They don't want prying eyes and they have the resources and the tech to counter. But Apple's new home sure makes for one hell of a photo backdrop. It almost looks like a ship from the Independence Day movie.
