Exactly.

The Trumptards were out in force to vote Trump in the primaries before they even really knew who he was.

Still... Slick, you have to realize Hillary will destroy the country- and perhaps end humanity under a mushroom cloud of nuclear destruction.

Why? Because she'll continue Obama's blundering, arrogant and reckless "foreign policy" of antagonizing Russia and letting China think they can take any ocean territory they want.

Not only that- but the middle east has becoming a festering smoldering heap of death.

We are closer now to WW3 than we ever have been in the last 20 years.

still, no, I do not. In fact, I feel anyone expecting such is pretty much nuts.

so, we are appeasing and antagonizing, all at once. Give me his policy over Bush's any day, thanks.

yeah, too bad we can't return it to the paradise it was 10 years ago. Or 20, or, well, you get the idea, or ought to.

right, and Sharia is around the corner and Mexicans are taking all the decent paying jobs. Give me a break, you lost any credibility YEARS ago, when you were still ThunderBunny.

Holy crap, you have no idea what you are talking about. That's not to say there is no danger, there is, but not in the way you imagine, and not from the places you suspect.

So which places do you "suspect?"

I don't really want to talk about it because it makes me uncomfortable, plus I don't want to sound alarmist, especially if that causes dimwits here to amplify the alarm. There were a couple under-reported events this year that have proven what some people have warned about for a decade. That is, most countries in the world (including the US) have infrastructures that are extremely vulnerable to coordinated attacks via cyberspace and independent actors. That means, it is now possible to effectively destroy a country, in seconds, without the use of conventional weaponry. WWIII, if it happens, won't look anything like people imagined in the Nuclear Age. I'm not even going to name the countries involved in these recent developments because people here can't be trusted to have a smart conversation, and this is the last I'm going to speak of it. Do your own research if you want.

I agree. Nuclear weapons are one of the best inventions of mankind as preventing aggression, but at any moment it may be the about the consequences of what better not to think.
Why do need another one same as Obama's policies, tomorrow somebody will think that I, too, want to likewise.

The problem is, there's this CNBC Scarborough interview that supposedly has Donald Trump actually wanting to know "why" he couldn't use nuclear weapons, like he thought that they could be used against non-nuclear states like Syria, never mind that using them at all pretty much starts a world apocalypse. But since no one can produce this unnamed foreign policy advisor to back up the claim, we don't for sure. If true, it's damned scary.

Trump reportedly asks why US can't use nukes: MSNBC
Wednesday, 3 Aug 2016 | 9:55 AM ET|01:20

Donald Trump asked a foreign policy expert advising him why the U.S. can't use nuclear weapons, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said on the air Wednesday, citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee.

"Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can't we use them," Scarborough said on his "Morning Joe" program.

I'm not defending nukes or those who want to use them, but I just want to point out that there are low-yield tactical nukes that have a place in conventional warfare and using them would not necessarily result in a sky full of ICBMs. Surely this nuance is lost on the Don, but it should be mentioned that the state of nuclear arms has changed a lot over the last 60 years.
