But the shocking answer given by several of the girls – which compelled me to argue with them – was that they were fans of Hitler!

once again, I note the simlarity between angry Arabs and angry white Americans. Those folks, according to the writer, see the same things in Adolph Hitler that white goofballs see in Trump. Scary, huh? So, why don't we root out the pox on OUR house and then try to find the moral high ground from which to address your issue?

your own article made a direct link to their reasoning, and it is IDENTICAL to the appeal of Trump to his supporters. That he has yet to fire up ovens or attack other nations is no reason to assume he wouldn't. I don't accept any equation, personally, of Trump and Hitler, seeing Trump as more a dimwitted Mussolini, a 'leader' from which Italy has never recovered fully.

Woody, I was answering the obvious point that Trump isn't genocidal, yet. No one thought, despite the rhetoric that Mussolini, Hitler, others were, either, when they voted them into office. All they knew is that they talked about the evil Jews, evil Socialists, whatever, and encouraged actions by their more radical followers. Same story here. This isn't an analogy, this is learning from history.
