I wasn't aware he was walking around with a "Paragon of Virtue" trucker hat on, either. But maybe he just knows how pants-on-head stupid those things look.

Re: Orange Creep
No, he's performing a George Wallace maneuver. Wallace ran into term limits as governor because Alabama's Constitution forbade consecutive terms at that time, so he sneeked right back into the governor's mansion by running his wife and getting her elected. His term as First Gentleman and advisor only lasted for only 15 months though. She passed away before completing her term and the Lieutenant Governor took over. That idea was cut short.callmeslick wrote:so, Bill Clinton is running for some office, is he?

Wikipedia wrote:Lurleen Wallace overwhelmed Jim Martin in the general election on November 8, 1966. She was inaugurated in January 1967, but on May 7, 1968, she died in office of cancer at the age of forty-one, amid her husband's ongoing second presidential campaign.[34] On her death, she was succeeded by Lieutenant Governor Albert Brewer, who had run without Republican opposition in the Wallace-Martin race. George Wallace's influence in state government thus subsided until his next bid for election in his own right in 1970. He was "first gentleman" for less than a year and a half.
