Chicago Tribune had and interesting opinion piece: Democrats should ask Clinton to step aside.

Yeah, the Dems sold their souls when they nominated her in the first place. She's a lousy polarizing and poisonous choice. Plus, we might get something even nastier happening if Trump loses. We are so royally screwed once either of these morons finally win.

Except she isn't, and that's why so many Republicans are voting for her. She's the perfect centrist relative to our political climate.

It would be the most responsible thing to do (for Hillary), if the nation were more important to them than power.
Except power is more important to her and she will never step aside.

She's precisely why we might actually get stuck with a moron and egomaniac like Donald Trump as president on November 8th! God forbid!

Have you not been paying attention to The Electoral College? She's at least 60 votes ahead.

that's 60 without winning any toss-up States. None. And, assuming she doesn't get a lucky flip in Nevada, Arizona, Utah or Georgia. The Vegas line still has her favored by 6-1 or more.

Honestly, I do not see as US President is not Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump. I think I have already said about the dark horse?
And also. Putin recently too malleable. He certainly tricky, but let's think now about who will be the next President of Russia.

there's the part you still don't get, Sigma. The US citizenry couldn't care less who the next President of Russia is, because the office is insignificant on the global stage.

Of course, this office is insignificant on the global stage. Absolutely. In the form in which you would like it to be

Your assertions remind me of the Carter/Reagan election.

Oh, I've seen it. But don't count your electoral votes before Nov. 8th. Trump is now slightly ahead in the most recent ABC poll, thanks to Comey, or at least someone in the FBI that hates Hillary and who pressured Comey to reopen the email investigation. All it will take is a couple of swing states like Pennsylvania and Florida going red and Trump will get the electoral votes he needs, unfortunately.

The difference is that those two men traded top spots in the polls for the year leading up to the election. Trump has been on top for a total of 48 hours the entire election season. Those stats count for something.
