Ding dong the witch is dead, the wicked witch is dead
What do you get when you nominate someone so corrupt and dishonest that, in spite of her being so skilled in the art of politics, having the vast majority of a complicit media, 'Big money' as well as Hollywood/pop culture working tirelessly to protect and prop her up... and in spite of her having the big bad democrat machine completely at her command.... but someone so flawed she couldn't defeat a political novice who embodied the most outrageous flaws a political opponent could have (short of having skewered babies onto wooden stakes like a gruesome kebab a la Vlad the Impaler.... on film....with multiple camera angles....and high definition audio)?
You get your dreams crushed by a Clinton, that's what!
But here are a few silver linings for the clouds that are looming on your horizons.
1 - The media will now put their journalist disguises back on and doggedly report on everything a President Trump and his cabinet does.
So you now get a check on the Executive branch that has been missing for 8 years and was about to stay missing in action for another 8.
That is a good thing. More than a good thing, that is a vital component to ensure the survival of our republic.
2 - All the bad actors both corporate and foriegn governent who paid to have a place in the Clinton cartel, and all the operators who have her hacked emails (the ones you didnt see leaked) now have nothing to use as leverage on our President.
That is good news.
3 - Some balance is restored to a corner of the karmic universe that was being tilted off center for far too long.
And as a bonus Jimmy Fallon is going to be so much funnier now than he would have been.
So suck it up buttercups and hum along....

I would like to be a fly on the wall when all the Clinton Foundation donors start calling and want their money back, "Yeah but you assured us your wife was a sure thing Bill". I wonder if Hillary will still get all those high fee speaking engagements
she has grown used to.

Yes, sometimes people DO get what they want. Will Robinson wrote:

I my case, the most likely repeal of Obamacare. It solves my problem of having to pay a fine in the 2018 tax year since I've decided I'm not going to buy health insurance in 2017. However, repealing the ACA will not fix the crumbling foundation of our failing health care system. Trump will find the that out soon enough.
In every American's case, the rise of an inept and angry thin-skinned megalomaniac who will soon have the power to seek revenge and settle scores against those who have crossed him in the past and against those who'll interfere with him in the future. By the way, I see the Russians and Iranians are celebrating as I speak. I wonder why?
See you in a couple of weeks and I didn't even vote for the b*tch. I told you slick that Hillary was a toxic mistake that the Dems would end up paying for in spades. They sure did.

I was just saying to another old fart who's worked about as many campaigns(for the GOP) as I have for the Dems. I'd have paid serious money to have been upstairs in the war room last night. The fingerpointing and acrimony was probably world-class after about 11 pm. I knew there was trouble yesterday afternoon. I'd been sitting around giving a ride or two to the polls, but otherwise uninvolved at 3pm, when I got a frantic plea for last minute poll calls into Pennsylvania. Not a good sign.woodchip wrote:I would like to be a fly on the wall when all the Clinton Foundation donors start calling and want their money back, "Yeah but you assured us your wife was a sure thing Bill". I didn't vote for Clinton either, but because of her foreign policy. I don't understand the Republican "I hate dishonesty/corruption, so I'm voting for Trump" mantra though. It's a "smell of your own farts" kind of thing I suppose.
