...and our democrats (whose party seeks to divide people by race/gender/religion.)

Trump sounds eerily similar...but he's not the only one taking people for suckers.
The democrat party has long sought to divide America along ethnic and cultural lines
to use to their advantage.

(Please note that unlike the guy in the video, Trump hasn't directly advocated 'eliminating'
people...but it's still eerily similar.)

I disagree, as you may suspect about the INTENT of Dems. However, the tendency to focus on individual segments(called by many Identity Politics) in the current economic climate, leads to an easy mark for those intent on dividing. Good video find, NS, just in case you don't feel I ever say anything nice.

Personally, I don't think the Dems have learned their lesson from Hillary's smackdown. They still decided to re-elect ol' Pelosi instead of going for some newer and younger blood.

when the person suggested to challenge was the only Muslim on the House floor, I'd say you're correct. The leadership hasn't figured it out, the far left hasn't figured it out. Ironically, the only folks who really understood how to move the agenda forward were the Clinton team, insofar as they were TRYING to build a broader coalition against the horror show the GOP seems determined to give the nation.

The Clinton Team was still part of the problem slick. That's why they lost. They were only performing lip service to the Sanders supporters in an attempt to get her elected. A LOT of Dems saw through all that BS and that's why they didn't vote for her. Only Bernie Sanders and perhaps Elisabeth Warren were genuinely speaking to the leftie populist crowd. I'm thinking now that the ONLY way Clinton would have won was if she'd picked Bernie as VP right off the start.

you clearly never listened to either them or me. It isn't or wasn't about 'lip service' to Sanders. It is about building a broad enough coalition to appeal to everyone from Sanders supporters to old-school Republicans to stand up and resist the hateful notion that the Federal Government has no role in maintaining the Welfare of the National populace. Sanders and Warren speak to a certain crowd, but that crowd is NEVER going to be enough, on their own, to carry a national election. Look at the other side. There are not enough anti-abortion types, nor anti-welfare types, nor pro-military types, nor neo-nazi white supremicist types BY THEMSELVES to ever win an election. But, they managed to cobble them all together long enough to win the White House and Congress, now didn't they?

Maybe cobbling together ideas is better than cobbling together ethnic groups.

Just where was the Trump campaign trying to cobble in Neo-nazis types. Your constant spew of lies makes you look ludicrous.

For once, I agree. The Dems have stuck to their diversity basket far too long. They need news ideas, new people and a new direction to get themselves off of that train track to obscurity they're currently still on.

Oh and slick, I listened plenty to Clinton and crew. She positively sounded like a robot spewing forth whatever she thought people wanted to hear just to get elected. There was no passion, no emotion, nor was there anything sounding like honest integrity. It almost felt like she considered all of us "people" to be beneath her, in other words, she came off stuck up. She just couldn't connect. Plus, she had all the personality of a turnip and only sounded populist just to beat Sanders. Even after she beat him in the primary, she didn't even sound convincing about her changing direction with her new found campaign promises. The only time I've seen any emotion out of her was when she conceded to Trump. I actually saw her almost shed a tear with a crack in her voice.
