worth reading and wondering. Lawrence Britt's 2003 look at the commonalities of the known fascist regimes to that date(not just a WW II thing):

this is but a synopsis, as the whole paper is under intellectual property protection.

Gads, Trump makes all 14 in the guy's list. We're screwed.

Re: interesting synopsis
not so sure I'd call it Trump so much as his whole team, public and private. Yes, they seem to be aiming to hit every box.
My take on Trump, himself, at the 3 day mark? He strikes me as essentially scared to death. Sure, he can do the easy signings, and the TPP thing was a key campaign promise, that the Congress had already effectively killed anyway. But, in a few settings, he shows the sign of a man who is starting to realize exactly how far over his head he is, personally, to deal with this. He already has antagonized the press, and by all RELIABLE sources, the CIA as well(turns out he packed the house the other day with bussed in audience members, few of those in the room were actual CIA staff). Congress is leery of him, and his approval ratings are the worst since Nixon's in the last 5 or 6 months of his term. He's scared, but how that manifests is anyones guess. I fear he will be more easily manipulated than Bush 43, and almost long for the evil but at least somewhat restrained Dick Cheney.

He does have that deer in the headlights look at times.
