This question is directed at slick or anyone else that thinks we should do something about Russia’s incursion into Ukraine.
Question: Exactly what should the US do in response to Russia’s actions in Ukraine?
But before you answer consider these:
1 Ukraine is not a member of NATO
2 President Obama already sent additional troops and equipment into NATO countries
3 Sanctions haven’t worked
4 The popular opinion that the US should stop being the world’s police
The Ukraine

Re: The Ukraine
Personally, we should do nothing. I agree with you that we are not the world's police.

I've said this for ages, the US should stop trying to police the world.

Re: The Ukraine
the issue is primarily Europe's, but we have a standing agreement, if I recall, through NATO that would obligate us to act.
