This is kind of a commentary question, so I'm posting it here. What the hell are these curtain wings placed beside the podium being used for? I've never seen any president use such a device, unless I was asleep at one time in the past. Sometimes I've seen speakers placed there when he's spoken, but why hide them from view? Perhaps to hide a platform to make him appear taller to the audience? It sure looks that way. He's almost a full head taller than that supporter he bought on stage during his recent rally. Inquiring minds want to know, is our president that vain? Why hide the platform anyway? Hell, the people behind him at the rally can see what's there, so what good are the curtains? Seems a little superfluous, unless he's afraid of only the media noticing something.
If you wait for the long shot, you'll see black curtains this time.

Cat (n.) A bipolar creature which would as soon gouge your eyes out as it would cuddle.
