Dravis' Stronghold question

Post by Alter-Fox »

Spoiler alert! Because we all still care about that!

I finished replaying D3 the other day and noticed something very interesting near the end of the game -- that in Dravis' Stronghold you fight exactly one black pyro before descending to the beast-boss.
Now the implications of that number for who the pyro is meant to be are obvious but since I remembered hearing in some place that the little animation with the black pyro descending into the sewers at the end of the Seoul mission was only added to that level after the release of Descent 3 Mercenary, I got curious.
To anyone who finished the game before all those patches for it came out: did level 15 have a black pyro in it before Mercenary was released?

Yes, it has always been there even in v1.0.

Interesting.
I still kinda think it's meant to be that pilot. Makes you wonder what he got up to between Suzuki's death and his own. :P

I really vaguely remember there being weird shark-looking creatures that showed up when you blew up dumpsters in Seoul, but that they disappeared after patching the game. Maybe I'm just making it up though.

You fight a Black Pyro in that level? Where?
Whatever I just said, I hope you understood it correctly. Understood what I meant, I mean.
