Except for the shell, the rest of the snail looks like an alien facehugger, including the wide flat foot enveloping the starfish and that orifice-probing proboscis. {*shudders*} I guess I've been reading too many Alien stories lately.

I got into the Alien Omnibus book series lately. I always wondered what had happened to those colonists Weyland-Yutani had sent to planetoid LV426 in between Alien and Aliens. But I'll take Stephen King any day.
