Just for future reference, the limit is 800x600 at 100kB. I've been giving a little breathing room (about 50 pixels and 10kB - 15kB respectively) since DOS and Windows Explorer read file sizes differently and for scalability reasons (some desktops aren't 4:3). Before anyone starts bitching again, I didn't make up the rule so don't start complaining to me. This has already been in effect for some time now (over 2 years IIRC) and was put into effect by Xciter if memory serves. Now if you want to talk to him about some kind of compromise, go for it. Its not my call, but if its reasonable I'll back it.

Actually, I'm using 1024x768. I'm just using the 1920x1440 sheild orb with the background set to "stretch". It resizes it to what you see there.

I had been meaning to update you all on my latest setup since my desktops change probably every week or two. Unfortunately I've been extremely busy and my host lost a router and forgot to inform me of the IP change with the other router (thx Toby

has anyone seen the Lithograph of the Rockwell/Boeing B-1B Lancer, going supersonic over a lake and large sonic rooster tails are skyrocketing upward from behind it? its a fake image made to look real as if the artis was actually there.

well that B-2A Pic looks very similar in design...fake image but artist rendered too appear that he snapped the pic while a B2 flew over him.

Yeah, I don't think my girlfriend would be very happy (like at all) if I have some other woman on my desktop- especially if she thought the girl looked better than her.

You guys read too much into things sometimes. I would hope that when I'm married or involved my wife/girlfriend would have enough faith in me to know that she is the only one that really matters. Afterall, I have no true relationship with a desktop

after looking at several of your desktops and their shear emptiness i decided to test this theory.....

i do kind of like it, but i may go back to the cluttered mess of icons. everything in QL is daily usage. i left MS Office XP Icons on dekstop for a reason......some friends of mine have been needed Office XP quite frequently lately so i left those out there. everything else has been moved to "Backup"

AND YES....I FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO RESIZE!!!
