Seems it was deleted from everywhere and it is not even on DMDB! If someone still has the mission, could you please share it?
Also what is your impression whether D1 or D2 version is more interesting to play, better balanced, etc?

If I recall, however, not much was changed unfortunately.
But there it is, regardless. 
Also newly uploaded to DMDB (along with a couple other more obscure levels/missions at the same time).

I came across (through a very old thread on a different forum) a 'jackpot' zip of old Descent II missions that was still online and it had V2.01 in it! I updated DMDB with that version.
