The Orville: Majority Rule

If some of you are unaware- Seth MacFarlane has a great show in homage to Star Trek called "The Orville."

And just like Star Trek before it, "The Orvillie" isn't shy about social commentary in its' episodes.

This episode - "Majority Rule" is of particular and pertinent to the atmosphere of society today.

I liked it far better than Star Trek Discovery.

So NS, if you don't agree with society-based voting, and yes, it have it's problems, what are the alternatives? Have only the select few elites choose who gets to hold office, people that then get to decide everything that affects ALL of us?
