A progressive Senator falling out of favor with his progressive base makes him a Nazi. Just wow. Where do they dream up this crap? The only thing that's soured the progressives on Sanders is because he refuses to call for abolishing ICE. That makes him more of a seasoned mainline Democrat than anything else, because he knows that abolishing ICE is reactionary politics and it would cause far more problems than it would solve. Elizabeth Warren has also fallen out of favor with progressives because of her perceived cowardice during the Democratic Convention, where she dodged endorsing a progressive candidate. So does that make her a Nazi too? No. It shows us that she's just another member of the usual better-safe-than-sorry mainline Democrats that many on the left have come to know and loathe.

Over the last year and a half, I've seen people on the left go further and further left; to the point where they will call anyone that disagrees with them nazis, hitler, and anything that we know describes the authoritarian far right. I've also seen people on the right pull further and further to the right to the point where they call anyone who disagrees with them communists and anything that describes the far left.

The far left has been engaging in ostracism, doxxing and pariahism; while the far right has been engaging in straight up violence.

There is no way that Sanders is a nazi. It's absurd to think so.

"Abolish ICE," to me, is just a poorly thought out bumper sticker slogan. It's not even all that descriptive of what many I've seen use the slogan actually want, which is basically ICE, but without the whole being intentionally cruel to undocumented immigrants and asylum seekers thing.
