Christian women fighters on the ground versus ISIS in Syria marked the three-year anniversary of the founding of their unit today, and vowed to keep up the battle as they draw more women into the ranks.
Hundreds of Syriac-Chaldean-Assyrian, Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox and Armenian women are among more than 2,000 Christian fighters whose units battle terrorists under the umbrella of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
Good for them. If I was there, I'd be joining them. By the way, you've got to quit posting stuff from pjmedia.com. My Firefox tracker blocker blocks them entirely. I guess it hates conservative Islamophobic reactionary websites.
This story is also old news, at least 4 year old news at that. But I still applaud these women's fortitude.

These are the REAL FEMINISTS in the world.
You really like to rock the ★■◆● out with your statements. Are you “the internet guy” that determines for us what a “real American” is too? Not to disparage these women AT ALL - but I’m pretty sure you don’t have to use an AK or a grenade launcher to be a real feminist - their situation requires it.

Feminists claim to be fighting tyrannical patriarchy which is actively oppressing women. Isn't that what islamic tyranny/supremacy and "culture" is- a patriarchy of the worst sort- worse than any work of fiction seen in something like the 'Handmaid's Tale?'
Looks just a bit too similar to -
Except the bottom image is REAL LIFE under islam.

So it’s A or B. That’s it. It’s either fighting ISIS or it’s a fictional story. Feminism just developed out of thin air as an avenue to complain and whine. Not because there are legitimate concerns about injustices towards half the humans on our planet. You’re either being sold into slavery, gang raped, or forced converted into a religion or your complaints are petty, and meaningless. There is no gradient AT ALL for you to consider someone a REAL FEMINIST.
There's no question that Islam is the absolute apex of religious female patriarchal control and persecution. But don't give Christianity a pass. Can modern feminism and Christianity even mix? They still seem very far apart even today. Feminists say that a woman has a right to control her body, her sexual desires, when and where to have sex and anything to do with her pregnancy or preventing said pregnancy using birth control. Christianity has more restrictive ideas on what woman can or cannot do with their bodies, their sexual desires, sexual pleasures, cohabitation, and especially anything to do with terminating a pregnancy or practicing birth control. Christianity also tends to be more patriarchal and restrictive in it's dogma than most feminists would accept, especially in the ideals of marriage before sex, proper gender roles, the "nuclear family" being made up of the typical biological male and female couple. Different gender identities from their ideal "norm" of male and female, meaning homosexuality, is a sin and forbidden. That's not going to be accepted by most feminists at all.

Sure. Many religions are simply systems of control- and of course they were mostly written up by men.
