It would seem that a real life superboy is born. The old German dream of a super race now seems to have happened:
"Somewhere in Germany is a baby Superman, born in Berlin with bulging arm and leg muscles. Not yet 5, he can hold seven-pound weights with arms extended, something many adults cannot do. He has muscles twice the size of other kids his age and half their body fat."

(yeah yeah Lothar, I know about the link stuff...just not how to do it)
Now the question is, since baby Huey body chemistry is natural and from that scientists can synthisize the protein blocking myostatin, how will this affect olympic athletes using it?
Pump you up!

this kid is gonna be pretty tall (for same reason active balerinas are tall: "strong back muscles"). too bad it isn't a chick.
did you notice what they were saying about how the kid will probabaly have health problems? i'm thinkin the same thing, so lets wait til he's lived his life until we pass judgement on whether artificually stimulating this gene mutation is a good idea or not.
btw, wasn't that mouse in Tekken3? yoshi saved the professor though (yay)

he'll probably have health problems, yes. Having a heart that's too strong can actually be trouble -- if the tissue gets too thick, the capacity drops. Having muscles that are too strong can cause damage to joints, bones, or whatever else the muscles are attached to.
I read a lot about possible treatments this might lead to, though, for people who have muscular problems. That's the positive side -- the negative side is that people might use such treatments like steroids, and have the same sort of problems as steroid users have...
