So why is it Trump isn't taking credit for this market?

Post by Krom »

When its up its all thanks to Trump, but we are rapidly approaching a 30% drop from the peaks and none of it is Trumps responsibility. No sir, its all a democrat conspiracy or some other deflection bull★■◆●.

I already saw a conservative political comic two days ago blaming it on Obama's bailouts (which by the way were paid back with interest before Trump even ran for president). ★■◆● gets more hilarious every day, if only because I'm still young enough to know that my 401k will outlive the bear market and I'll make it all back eventually.

He can't be held responsible for the Chinese people catching and spreading this thing, then bringing down their entire economy in the process. Unfortunately, everyone else in the world just happens to be stuck on the sinking ship the Chinese and the world's greedy free market system created by locating nearly all of the world's manufacturing in pretty much just ONE country. Even a first year economic student could have predicted the outcome.

However, Trump IS the "leader", and I use that term with derision, of our nation and is responsible 100% for this virus spreading so fast in this country, the wildly unprepared reaction of our vaunted health care system (Italy has more hospital beds per capita that WE DO) and the tepid and laughable joke of a government response to this whole thing. What a farce. You're worried about your 401K Krom, well I'm worried about my retirement account AND whether I'll survive this virus if I catch it because I'm older and this virus is killing older people in my age range. That makes it less likely I'll live long enough to see it recover those losses. I posted this link in my other thread, but it bears repeating here since it directly concerns Trump and his abject stupidity and bald-face lying to the American people during this whole fiasco. I sincerely hope that this disaster is the Orange Napoleon's Waterloo, which would be the ONLY good thing to come out of this.

Direct Trump Tweet.

2016 is happening all over again, play-by-play.

We're going to see a runup for Biden, they'll do a hamfisted 'debate', Trump will act like the shitgibbon he is, he'll lose the popular vote, but win the electoral college election again, call Biden a Russian democratic hoax and then act like it was his own genius that gave him the win.

They're so bad, they keep shooting themselves in the foot. But Trump's own bumbling at handling this crisis may eventually prove his undoing, despite the Dems lack of vision. He desperately wants to open up the economy to help his ratings, which will most certainly cause yet another resurgence of this virus.

If Dems win, they will consider it a tribute to how great they are, and not how bad Trump is. If Dems lose, they will blame Bernie Sanders.

Sadly, you've hit the nail on the head and the status quo of stupidity will remain entrenched in the top levels of the Dem Party.

Here's an interesting video that made me stop and completely rethink my previous position.

Regardless of what happens, November 2020 is going to be a hell of a show. If it turns out that the succession path commences, republicans are going to literally lose their ★■◆● and scream revolution.

Interesting Ferno. I was thinking about that very same question as Trump bobbles the government response to this thing. Even though this video says it can't happen, I'll bet you Trump will try something. In the meantime, guess who's AGAINST putting in a national vote-by-mail referendum? Why, Trump and the Republicans. However, their arguments are against it are specious because several states, including Oregon, have had vote-by-mail for years and it works just fine with little or no voter fraud. Of course, the Republican back up plan to that idea is to continue to de-fund the Post Office, which is scheduled to run out of future health care funding money by this summer. Coincidence?
