Descent 1 - 100% run (ace)

Hello.
Cca half a year ago I was trying make an insane-max run of whole D1. Before that I did it first on hotshot, then on ace for some training. Unfortunately I failed on insane. In my best run I lost a life in L23. After that I stopped trying and I still don't see myself going for that, since I have other things to do. Maybe somewhere in the future, who knows. For now I decided at least share my run on Ace.

Did you find yourself planning resource use several levels ahead? Or did you feel so overpowered you didn't think about resources as much?

I honestly don't really remember, because it is not recent run and I made it very quickly. But I believe I was so experienced with all levels, that most of it was surely planned. Run on hotshot took me for some reason more time. Probably because I was playing it way to fast and didn't care about any shield at all, so I failed quite a lot of attempts if I remember well. But for insane, I'm 100% sure every single strategy, missile shot etc. was planned in my run. Unfortunatelly I forgot it.. But I have a demofile of my run from L1 to L23, so I can reconstruct most of it quickly I guess, if I decide go for it again. Anyway it is a hard challenge for me, since I refused slow playing.
