And just to remind woodchip, even though Biden screwed the pooch on the Afghanistan withdrawal and was man enough to take the heat and responsibility for it, it was Trump and Hamid Karzai who wanted to make peace with the Taliban and THEY pressed the Pakistanis to release Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar from prison, a prison we helped put him into back in 2010. On top of that, our vaunted military leaders, from several administrations mind you, just couldn't see that all those Afghani forces we spent BILLIONS of American dollars training would just lay down their weapons and hand it all over to the Taliban in a few days right as we left. Conservatives just can't get it through their heads that nation building through military occupation doesn't work.

The speed at which the Afghan government collapsed is all the proof you need to know that it was never held together in the first place. All the people saying we abandoned the mission right before it would have succeeded are delusional. The fact of the matter is the only people willing to fight for Afghanistan are the Taliban, so they were always going to get control of the place.

The Afghan military only saw it as a paycheck, same as most of the loudest media voices complaining about abandoning the mission. America gets out of the war and all those military contracts dry up, that is all it was ever about. Nobody ever wanted to win the war because first that would stop the money from flowing, and second what it would require to actually "win" and destroy the Taliban forever would be straight up war crimes against humanity.

Don't tell that to conservatives. The war was started on their watch after 9/11and their President, Trump, was the one who began the end of that same war 20 years later whether they like it or not. So tough luck if all those military contracts dried up overnight, the country immediately fell to the Taliban in only days because our military leaders were arrogant and greedy and wanted that money to never dry up up and thus stayed there for 20 years using unfinished nation building as their justification. News flash, it was NEVER going to be finished, EVER. The military also didn't give a rat's ass about all those Afghans who helped them during the war either. They were nothing but disposable military tools to be left behind. If they DID care, they would've been taken out as valuable assets BEFORE we started removing our troops. And think, if we'd spent all those BILLIONS of dollars in our own country instead? It boggles the mind. Now all that cash has gone up in smoke and for nothing, nada, zippo, bupkiss. Plus, we've now armed the Taliban with some of our own tactical gear, weapons and vehicles to use against the Afghan people or possibly the U.S. in the future since we've never learned our damned lesson. Nice going you idiots.

So what's conservative media bitching about now other than Biden screwed up the withdrawal? Why, about all those potential Afghan terrorists being resettled into our country now, coming next door to a neighborhood near you SOON as a terrorist boogeyman. I mean, they're resorting to calling ALL of them potential terrorists to be kept put of our European lily white nation at all costs as just another fear mongering tactic because that's what their American conservative xenophobic base wants to hear. Meanwhile, right wing racist nutbags like the Three Percenters and the Proud Boys are still planning on returning Trump to power, at the end of a gun if they have too.

And now 20 years later on the anniversary of 9/11, we're going to be treated to all sorts of crap remembrance shows on TV, especially from the New York-based media who still have PTSD (from both political stripes too) and just can't let the rest of the nation ever forget what a 20 year nightmare war they drove our nation into entering in 2001 in an act of vengeance and a twisted desire for reforming a backward mostly Islamic nation into something that they hoped would be similar to our own Christian nation. As for taking responsibility for the aftermath of that messy withdrawal, Biden was man enough to stand up and take responsibility for the disaster on national TV. Mr. Orange take-no-responsibility-for his-actions coward Trump would've sent some stooge in front of the cameras and blamed some liberal or Democrat political leader(s) somewhere just to cover up the fact that his own glorious decision turned into a royal clusterfuck, because that prick has NEVER taken any personal responsibility for anything he's ever done that's gone south or made him look weak, EVER.

As for Biden's dismal numbers on the Covid response, if every conservative in this nation had quit being a bunch of chickenshit paranoid maskwipes and ignored their ignorant paranoid conservative news sources and ignorant leaders spouting absolute false antivax and antimask bull★■◆● and had gotten ANY vaccine months before the Delta variant reared it's ugly head in this country, we'd have reached herd immunity by now. We'd would've been better able to fight off the Delta variant because most of the country's adults would've been vaccinated. So the current rise in Covid cases and deaths is THEIR ★■◆●ing FAULT too.
