Any of Team NuB still out there?

Going on 12 years ago now, a 13 year old kid with a copy of Descent 3 and a crummy dial-up internet connection found and joined Team NuB.

I still remember the great times I had playing with Deadmeat (or did he spell it Dedmeat?), Zero, Paratrooper, and all the others I can't remember by name. Heck I haven't played for nearly 10 years and I still know vanilla Stadium map by heart. And even though I went dark on radar I still kept the NuB in my gamer handle all this time.

If you guys are still out there, I've got a joystick and mic waiting to get used in the quest of becoming a trainee again. This time as a more serious 25 year old rather than the flaky 13 year old .

Long time no see bud!! (not that I play that much either these days) Unfortunately sometime after I left for [RIP] and [RIP] lost Phenomenon ([NuB2]Catdawg) the team just went poof for whatever reason. I have contact with some members of the team that I have found, but alas Deadmeat has disappeared off the radar as well. Nice to know that the tag is still alive out there in the MP gaming community that you participate in. DM would be honored.

I was on Team NuB as well. I am still alive, and hopefully will be for some time yet, though I don't play very much Descent these days.

I was with NuB as well before going to [TA]. I remember Deadmeat and Vulgarus_Maximus. Just bought a new 3D Pro to play again and it seems like the only levels being played are the secondary fests like Subway Dancer.

I'm here! Someone mentioned Descent on Facebook, and I decided to do some looking online to see what was all around. I was [NuB]MTBguy I have no idea if anyone still plays the game anymore, but it would be fun to give it a go for nostalgia.

It's pretty cool to see some usernames and remember them after such a long while.

Descent 3 was my first online experience and [NuB] helped tremendously to make it a good one.

Dear NuB team,

If u are out there, reading this and please come back to Descent 3. Descent 3 has been a ghost for months, I tried to get people to play D3 with me, they refused and they prefer DXX Rebirth. I love if u "NuB" team to reboot, start CTF, Monsterball, Team Anarchy, and Team InstaReap games again. I like to experience Descent 3 all over again
