Since Trump loves the Saudis and he desperately wants his soon to be built in Oman Golf Course (even more of an unnecessary water siphon that's used by the elites of the world), I seriously doubt he'd put a screeching halt to THEIR farming OUR land and using OUR disappearing water caused by the continuing Western drought to grow THEIR food and ★■◆●ing cattle feed. Texas and most other cattle (and sheep) are raised in the West and a lot of food comes from the Sacramento Valley in California, especially almonds, lettuce, tomatoes and avocados, which won't grow or survive in the Mid-West due to the violent weather and cold winters. The Mid-West is best for 2 things, wheat and corn. I drove the length of the Sacramento Valley a couple of years ago. It's literally miles and miles of almond trees, tomatoes, grapes and other warm weather crops. No water, it all dries up and is gone from human consumption. We starve. Are you really that clueless?

And the transition to renewable energy is something we can only accelerate so much, there is no getting around how some of it can only go so fast. Plus we don't want to rush so much that it causes bigger problems just in a different way. Like every problem with clean energy production can generally be solved or minimized if we take the time to do it right (and limit our consumption now to minimize the damage that is already happening). Mining and recycling are the big ones, clean energy likes rare-earths or stuff that isn't the easiest to extract or refine, and recycling is also often a very energy intensive process, but they are all stuff that can be made neutral or sustainable.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm a conspiracy realist. I don't "believe" the earth is flat, I'm convinced of it because of the evidence and the arguments against globe earth. It makes the globe earth hypothesis look really stupid once you know more about flat earth than what the school teacher or the news reporter says about it (basically nothing). And as for the volcano: While it did temporarily exacerbate the problem, water vapor is a greenhouse gas but it only stays in the atmosphere for 9 days, as opposed to CO2, which stays in the atmosphere from 300 to 1000 years.
